Before being blessed with the opportunity to become the Director of
LoveYourBAG,Brandon has been helping to carry the load since the time LoveYourBAG was
still in the creation process in 2020. Before officially becoming a non-profit, while thinking of a
name for her organization, he suggested to Nishan "Blessings and Growth" to be the meaning of
the acronym for BAG. After that the rest is history and "Blessings and Growth" is forever a part
of the identity of LoveYourBAG. Despite growing up and living in New Jersey, Brandon always
stayed involved with Nishan and would volunteer to help out whenever it was needed whether he
was picking up donations, giving creative advice, or coming to events to directly give back to the
communities of New York.
Through playing sports his entire life, Brandon achieved great individual success in his
athletic and scholastic career. While attending Manalapan High School, he was an All-State
football player in New Jersey, while starting at both Middle Linebacker and Right Tackle, while
also being the team captain. His success would later earn him a partial scholarship to play
football at Division II East Stroudsburg University, where he would then become only the third
true freshmen in school history to start the season opener. However, he is always quick to point
out that he was only able to achieve that great individual success, because of the teammates he
had around him to work with in order to improv himself everyday, hence, our motto "Together,
we carry the load".
However, it wasn’t just athletics where he excelled during his time at East Stroudsburg,
as he would also go on to become a founding member and Vice President of the Alpha Phi
Sigma Honor Society, graduate with Cum Laude Honors, and complete his Bachelor Degree
Some other notable achievements he has made in his life include being certified by
OSHA as a Sight Safety Supervisor for commercial construction sights, being a licensed
Mortgage Loan Officer in New Jersey, and perhaps most interesting, being a legally ordained
minister, all of which further show his diverse skillset and what he brings to LoveYourBAG.
Now that Nishan has given him the opportunity and blessing of being the Director for
LoveYourBAG, Brandon continuously strives daily to improve our operations, community
outreach, quality and variety of programs/services we are readily able to offer, and much more.
With Nishan and him now working together daily as partners, the future is beyond bright for
LoveYourBAG to be able to serve the community for many years to come.
